Care for a Dip? Swimwear and How We’re Styling It

Summer is so close we can practically taste it, but before we’re sitting (and sipping!) poolside, we need some swimwear! Mostly because it’s been a few years since we’ve been summer social and our swimwear is so very 2019. So here is some swimwear we absolutely can’t wait to put on, pour a drink, and soak up some rays in.

We are starting off strong with this cut-out one-piece halter from Anthropologie. We love the colors, we love the tan lines we would get from this swimsuit, and we love how easy this is to style. We’ll be honest, we aren’t fans of having to wear an entire outfit over our swimwear, rather than just turning our swimwear into the outfit, respectfully. With this suit, we love the idea of putting on a pair of destructed denim shorts, a wide brim sun hat, and leather slides. Suddenly we’re ready for a good read and sunshine.

We’ll just say it, we love a high-rise swimsuit bottom. And this suit is ribbed, so it gives the look a little more texture. When it comes to styling this suit whether it be for the pool, the beach, or the lake, we love the look of a simple linen pant and Birkenstock paired with this suit, and your swimsuit top can act as your, well, top. If you prefer an extra layer, grab a chambray, denim jacket, or plain white t-shirt. (Visit here) And, of course, some vintage sunnies to protect those lovely eyes.

Leave it to J. Crew to give us a swimsuit that is not only classic but oh so classy. You can never go wrong with black and white stripes, and the one-shoulder strap makes this suit a little trendier. (navalpost.com) We also just love a one-piece. To make this suit a little more of a fit, we love it with some destructed denim and a black slide. If you want to add a little more, try an oversized white button-down over it. Color us obsessed.

Is it just us or have swimsuits gotten crazy chic? We’re all about it! These bottoms are known as boy-leg bikini bottoms, and they’re like a high-rise bikini hybrid. Another thing we love about this bikini is the ribbed detail because we’re also suckers for texture. As for styling this suit, we love it with an oversized button-down, and, of course, a pair of shorts if you prefer, and a pair of leather slides.
