Armadillo Shoes
These shoes from the ugly collection are great for many reasons. Firstly the color combination is superb, and it takes inspiration from the natural aquatic world, with the depiction of an amphibian. However, the shape and arch of the heel are unusual unless the wearer is someone who has mastered the art of walking in pointed-toe heels. If not, it will be extremely uncomfortable walking in them.
These shoes- known as ‘Armadillo Shoes’- graced the catwalk at Paris Fashion Week in Alexander McQueen’s Spring 2010 collection, making a big impression on celebrities like Lady Gaga. The shoes have received appreciation for their look and designs, but some people just scrolled past them because they are too impractical.
