Anyone Who Loved McDonald’s as a Kid Remembers these Happy Meal Toys: Here are the Most Iconic Ones Ranked From Best to Worst

Talking Minions

The “Minions” movie franchise is popular with kids and adults. It is funny, entertaining, and an all-around kid-friendly movie. McDonald’s had to cash in on its popularity, and in 2015 they released a collection of talking minions. However, this was a decision they’d regret later. Apart from being quite controversial, this Happy Meal toy turned out to be incredibly annoying.

One of the minions came under investigation as many parents claimed they heard it cuss and use the “f” word. According to CNBC, McDonald’s was quick to refute the claim, saying the toy was speaking “Minionese” (the fictional language of Minions) and saying “para la bukay.” Regardless, the endless chatter from the minions was very annoying.
