Camp McDonaldland Camp Gear
In 1990, McDonald’s introduced the Camp McDonaldland Camp Gear Happy Meal toy to promote Camp McDonaldland and get Happy Meal fans familiar with the McDonaldland characters.
However, they forgot that not every kid loves camping. Sure they’d enjoy the campfire stories, but most kids would prefer the safety and comfort of their homes. To those kinds of kids, this Happy Meal Toy was not a toy at all, especially since it was poorly made, ugly looking, and was bad quality. It was useless in an actual camping situation.
