Bringing a worn shoe and making a pun will get you rejected
Anyone knows that being intelligent is not the only attribute that will get you into college. There are other qualities that can charm any admission officer and can be of help if you do not have the greatest grades. For example, being charismatic and clever can get you a long way.
In most cases, the admission officers love meeting people that stand out from the rest. That is why a good joke can work for an excellent first impression. However, you should never do what this person did. We must admit that the pun was clever, but a smelly shoe and a joke do not get you into college.
