She should have hidden her Twitter account from the school’s social media department
As we have seen before, most schools just look up the basics when deciding if you are a good fit for them. While, in most cases, your social media feeds should not be a problem when trying to pursue a college education, there might be a few exceptions to this rule.
This case is a bit frustrating given that this student had already been accepted into college when it all went down. Apparently, one of the school’s social media department employees decided to follow her on Twitter. That is when they saw a whole lot more than what they had expected.
