Being honest about cheating in high school is not a good look to get into college
We can all agree that lying is never good for your college application. Even if you come up with the most believable stories, the admission officers are not likely to fall for them. However, if the truth is not really flattering, maybe a little embellishing is not wrong.
On paper, we can understand the reasoning behind rejecting someone’s application after finding out they were a cheater in high school. But, not many people can list cheating as a skill on their admission form as successfully as this student. In our opinion, this person’s application should get another shot.
