This guy’s social media got him out of Stanford University
When reviewing their applicants, colleges have to do extensive research to ensure that their future students are up to the institution’s standards. Schools may look up your social, economic, and educational background. However, this search does not usually include browsing your social media profiles.
However, you would be wrong to believe that social media does not impact your chances of getting into college. While admission officers will not often look at your social media, there might be exceptions. So, it is best to keep a clean feed if you are going to tweet at your college explicitly.
