Minions have a total of six fingers
While humans have five fingers, Minions are seen to have three fingers on each hand, making it a total of six fingers. Although there is no specific reason for this feature, others speculate that the animator decided to follow the normal rule of iconic cartoon or animated characters. Whatever the reason, they are sure cute to look at.
Most iconic characters that have spawned out of legendary animations all seem to have one thing in common: they either have three fingers or four at most. With the massive success of the Minions, it seems like this animation recipe still works.
