Minions cannot die
Minions’ genetic makeup has allowed them to live for eternity. They do not die, as they are immune to bombs, bullets, and other dangerous material. This can be proven in the movie when Scarlet fired a bomb at a Minion, and he swallowed it immediately.
Also at one point in the film, the Minions were weeping, believing that one of their own had died in an explosion. Almost immediately, the Minion who was presumed dead was found alive. In another example, when a character named Herb tried to torture three Minions, he found that he couldn’t, because their bodies were astonishingly flexible and hard to harm.
