This is One Way To Keep A Toddler From Wandering Off
There are bad products, and there are really bad products. This is a real product from Kindex. It is supposed to be a sort of fillable weight that toddlers can wear around their ankles, like an ankle weight system, to restrict the kiddo’s movements and help them stay in one place.

We have mixed feelings about this, though. While this product is far from appearing cruel or inhumane, it makes the child’s ankles look like they are adorning swimming armbands. Also, if the child is finally able to walk, he or she should be encouraged to do so and not be held back. After all, learning to walk is a life lesson in always trying no matter how hard things are.
